and advisors.

Debbie Taylor, Senior Partner
Debbie Taylor is an experienced educator, innovator, and manager.  
People laud her ability to simplify complex issues.  She is known for
helping students and adults develop new knowledge and skills.  “All
students can learn” is one of her credos.

Debbie has worked in schools (San Francisco Unified, Wellesley Public
Schools), businesses (SCORE!, Co-nect, Sylvan) and non-profit
organizations (Business Roundtable, Aspire Public Schools).   Prior to
starting GreatParents, Debbie was Vice President for Operations at
Sylvan Education Solutions. She and her team managed operations for
96 learning centers that served 8000 students.  The number of students
served and the level of academic achievement of students in the
programs significantly increased each year.  Other experiences include:
teaching students, providing professional development to teachers,
developing curricula, counseling parents, and working with policy
makers.  

Debbie has earned an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from
Stanford University.  She has completed her course work for a Ph.D. in
Education.

Winnie Fink, Senior Advisor
Winnie has over 15 years experience in education as a teacher, trainer,
consultant, and manager.  She began her education career working in
Student Affairs at the University of Illinois.  Her elementary teaching
career began in a Texas elementary school as part of Teach for America.  
Winnie later taught at a KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) middle
school.  As a teacher at both schools, she served as a member of her
Student Site Council and worked closely with parents to help them
understand what their children were learning and how they, as parents,
could participate.  

Winnie has developed and coordinated major training efforts for many
organizations including Catapult Learning, Consortium On Reading
Excellence, Success For All and the California Motorcycle Safety Program.
These efforts included creating and implementing plans to introduce new
processes and skills to workers at over 150 sites.  She is known for her
attention to details and for her commitment to building partnerships with
clients. She organizes and maintains systems in order to streamline
communication and increase efficiency.

Winnie graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors of
Science in Business Administration and Psychology.
